Manually Enter Voters' Intentions

Did you receive information about a voter, including their intention to vote, outside of a canvassing operation? Here’s how to enter it manually.

During an election, every voter record counts! In this article, we’ll show you how to enter one manually so that no data is lost.

1. First, make sure to select the district where the voter is from.

Navigate to [<a href="https://crm.democratik.org/admin/crm/electors](https://crm.democratik.org/admin/crm/electors)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://crm.democratik.org/admin/crm/electors](https://crm.democratik.org/admin/crm/electors)</a>

2. Next, if you haven’t already, choose the correct registration form.

Click "Pointage"

3. Then, select the method by which the person provided you with the registration you want to enter. Here, for example, "In person".

Click "In Person"

4. Now you can search for the person whose information you want to enter, for example by entering their name in the search bar. As a reminder, if you’re wondering how to search for a voter in more detail, we have an article for that!

Once you find the right person, you’re finally ready to record their voting intention. Click in the space in the first column (“1st Choice”) to enter their first choice. A window will appear where you can choose the right party or answer.

5. If you make a mistake, you can always change it or delete the answer with the garbage icon.

Click trash icon to clear elector status

10. You can repeat the step 4 to enter the second choice of the voter, if you know it.

There you go—the data has been successfully submitted. You can relax now!
